Crash [ NEW YORK, NY, USA ]all artists
As young as 13 years old…
Crash started going with friends to bomb subway cars in train yards. Crash moved seamlessly from trains and streets to galleries having his first exhibit in 1980, the iconic “Graffiti Art Success for America”, this is argued as having launched the graffiti movement as a true art form. Crash’s career took off from there becoming popular throughout Europe and Asia. He has been featured in numerous museum and gallery shows around the world and has partnered with many elite brands including Fender Guitars, Sanrio and Tumi. His style uses bright colors with comic-like characters. His work can be seen as a combination of graffiti and Pop Art.
Crash has previously worked with Goldman Properties, having a turn painting their iconic Houston Bowery mural wall in 2013. Regarding the program Wynwood Wall’s Walls of Change, Crash felt humbled to be invited “With the high regard I have for the Goldman Family and their undying support to the arts, I am grateful to be able to continue to work with them and keep the dialogue going with the public.”
