Calling himself a “calligraffiti” artist…
eL Seed seamlessly blends the ancient art of Arabic calligraphy and modern art of street graffiti into the murals he paints. eL Seed uses intricate composition in his work to call not only on the words and their meaning, but also on their movement, which ultimately lures the viewer into a different state of mind. eL Seed’s art reflects the reality of mankind and the world we live in today.
Wynwood Walls’ is proud to include eL Seed in the 2015 Miami Art Week program Walls of Change. His mural for the program quotes 3rd century philosopher Anathasius “anyone who wants to look at the sunlight must wipe his eyes first.” On the program he said “I am super excited to be part of the Wynwood Walls this year. Wynwood’s energy and spirit inspired many art initiatives all around the world and it is an honor for me to come paint there. “
